SPARTUS Ultra 2000 welding helmet
– wider perspective, intelligent control
SPARTUS Ultra 2000 is an advanced welding helmet with an auto-darkening filter that combines panoramic visibility, intelligent darkening technologies and wireless control via a mobile application. Designed for demanding users, it offers precise parameter control, excellent visibility of the welding arc and the flexibility to adjust settings for different welding processes.
The large 107×75 mm viewing area, additional side windows and highest optical class of 1/1/1/1 provide excellent conditions for observing the welding area. The advanced filter with 6 sensors (4+2), SMART mode, MIX function and DIN 4–8 / 9–15 shade range supports precision welding at both low and high currents. Additionally, the flip-up design allows the operator to quickly switch from welding to preparation and finishing tasks without removing the helmet. The helmet also offers configuration via the SPARTUS ADF application and memory for three individual sets of settings.
Panoramic visibility – beyond the standard viewing area
SPARTUS Ultra 2000 offers a wide 107×75 mm filter viewing area, complemented by additional side windows. This design expands the field of vision and improves spatial awareness without the need to frequently turn the head or lift the helmet.
The light shade of DIN 2,5 makes it easier to assess electrode positioning, prepare workpieces and observe the workstation before striking the arc. The 1/1/1/1 optical class ensures high image quality by minimizing distortion, light scattering and variations in shading when viewed from different angles.
The flip-up design allows the auto-darkening filter module to be raised, revealing a transparent protective lens. This gives the operator a clear view of the workpiece during grinding, material preparation or weld inspection while maintaining face protection.
SMART – intelligent darkening adapted to the welding arc
Technology that responds to changing welding conditions.
SMART mode automatically adjusts the filter shade level to the intensity of light emitted by the welding arc. This means the operator does not need to manually readjust the shade whenever the arc brightness changes, improving workflow and allowing greater focus on the weld.
The user can define the minimum shade level and adjust the filter response to individual preferences. The system continuously regulates the shade level between the selected minimum and DIN 13.
SPARTUS ADF – control your welding helmet with a smartphone
Ultra 2000 features wireless connectivity, allowing the filter to be connected to the SPARTUS ADF mobile application. From a smartphone, users can adjust key operating parameters without removing the helmet.
The application allows users to:
- select SMART / GRIND / CUT / WELD / MIX operating modes,
- adjust shade level, sensitivity and delay time,
- synchronize settings with the filter,
- save configurations in the application,
- view information about battery status and filter temperature.
This solution takes helmet configuration to a new level of convenience and gives users greater freedom to personalize their settings.
MIX function – greater visual comfort during welding
Intense arc light and frequent changes in shade level can cause eye fatigue, particularly during spot welding and high-current welding. The MIX function has been developed to reduce the discomfort associated with sudden filter brightening after welding.
Instead of immediately returning to the light state, the filter gradually brightens through intermediate shade levels. This allows the eyes to adapt more comfortably to changing light intensity and enhances comfort during repeated welding cycles.
Advanced filter – precise performance and extensive adjustment options
The Ultra 2000 auto-darkening welding filter uses 4 arc sensors and 2 additional auxiliary sensors, ensuring a fast and precise response to arc light. The switching time is 1/25 000 s, while the wide DIN 4–8 / 9–15 shade range allows the protection level to be adjusted for different welding and cutting processes.
Users also have access to:
- WELD – welding mode with adjustable DIN 9–15 shade range,
- CUT – cutting mode with DIN 4–8 shade range,
- GRIND – grinding mode with the filter locked in the light state of DIN 2,5,
- DARK – fixed-shade mode without automatic filter switching,
- 11-level delay adjustment from 0,04–1,0 s,
- Sensitivity adjustment – adapts sensor response to lighting conditions,
- TEST – allows the filter operation to be checked before starting work.
The helmet provides continuous UV/IR protection up to DIN 16, regardless of the current shade setting.
Three memory channels – your preferred settings always at hand
Ultra 2000 allows users to save 3 individual filter configurations. Separate settings can be prepared for different welding processes, current ranges or working conditions and then quickly recalled without the need for readjustment.
The memory function is also useful at workstations shared by several operators, allowing preferred configurations to be saved and easily switched between users.
Ergonomics tailored to the operator
The advanced features of Ultra 2000 are complemented by a design focused on everyday comfort. The adjustable headgear allows individual adjustment of head circumference, wearing height, helmet angle and distance between the filter and the face.
Replaceable front and rear sweatbands enhance user comfort, while the digital control panel enables precise parameter adjustment. The filter is powered by solar cells supported by a replaceable CR2450 battery.
Versatility that meets welders' needs
SPARTUS Ultra 2000 is designed for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding, plasma cutting and grinding. With support for TIG AC/DC welding at currents as low as 2 A, the helmet is also suitable for demanding applications where precision and reliable filter response to low-intensity arcs are essential.
SPARTUS Ultra 2000 combines a wide field of vision, intelligent technology and personalized control – designed for welders who expect more from their helmet than standard protection.
