Choose the viewing tone that suits you best. SPARTUS Ultra 2300 features advanced Dual Color technology, allowing users to choose between two colour rendering options in the dark state – True Color and Harmony Green.
Instead of relying on a single, predefined filter colour characteristic, users can select the viewing tone that best suits their individual preferences and the type of work being performed.

• True Color – provides more natural colour reproduction, making it easier to observe details in the welding area.
• Harmony Green – offers a green-tinted view, providing an alternative for welders who prefer this way of observing the arc and weld pool.

The ability to switch between viewing tones provides an additional level of personalisation, supporting visual comfort and precise control over the welding process.

Panoramic visibility – greater control over the welding area

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 offers a wide 107×75 mm viewing area, complemented by additional side windows. This design expands peripheral visibility and improves spatial awareness without the need to frequently turn the head or lift the helmet.

Excellent viewing quality is ensured by a filter with an optical class of 1/1/1/1, characterised by minimal image distortion, reduced light scattering and uniform shading at different viewing angles. The DIN 3 light state makes it easier to position the electrode, align workpieces and prepare the workstation before welding.

SMART – intelligent darkening adapted to arc intensity

SMART mode automatically adjusts the filter shade level to changes in welding arc brightness. This eliminates the need for manual adjustments whenever the light intensity changes, helping maintain a smooth workflow and allowing the operator to focus on the weld.
The user can define the minimum shade level and adjust the filter response to individual preferences. The system regulates the shade in real time, from the selected minimum value up to DIN 13, providing greater convenience and control over the welding process.

MIX function – smoother transition to the light state, greater visual comfort

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 features the MIX function, which allows the filter to gradually transition from the dark to the light state through intermediate shade levels. This helps reduce visual discomfort caused by sudden changes in brightness. The MIX function is particularly useful during spot welding and high-current welding, where frequent arc ignition and extinction may cause eye fatigue.

External GRIND button – quick switching to grinding mode

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 features an external GRIND button, allowing users to conveniently activate grinding mode without removing the helmet or accessing the internal control panel. Once activated, the filter remains in the DIN 3 light state, allowing clear observation of the workpiece during grinding and preparation tasks. This practical solution is particularly useful for operations requiring frequent switching between welding and grinding, improving convenience and workflow efficiency.

Advanced filter – precise response and extensive adjustment options

The Ultra 2300 auto-darkening welding filter uses 4 arc sensors and 2 additional auxiliary sensors to ensure a fast and precise response to changes in light intensity. When the arc is struck, the filter activates automatic darkening within 1/25 000 s.

Two shade ranges DIN 5–9 / 9–13 allow the protection level to be adapted to different welding processes and parameters. The filter also offers extensive configuration options:

• WELD – welding mode with adjustable DIN 9–13 shade level.
• CUT – cutting mode with a DIN 5–9 shade range.
• GRIND – grinding mode with the filter locked in the DIN 3 light state.
• DARK – fixed shade mode without automatic filter switching.
• Sensitivity adjustment – adapts the sensor response to arc brightness and ambient lighting conditions.
• 11-level delay adjustment – allows the filter's return time to the light state to be set within a range of 0.04–1.0 s.
• TEST function – allows the filter operation to be checked before welding.

The digital control panel with a clear display enables precise parameter configuration. The filter also provides continuous UV/IR protection up to DIN 16, regardless of the selected shade level.

Ergonomic headgear – comfort tailored to the user

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 features multi-point adjustable headgear, offering four adjustment options: headgear height, head circumference, distance between the filter and the face, and viewing angle.
This design ensures a stable helmet position and allows it to be adjusted to the user's individual needs. Replaceable front and rear sweatbands further enhance comfort during everyday work.
