Pipe welding

The root of a stainless steel pipe oxidises without backing gas. A plug or purge shoe keeps the shielding gas on the root side and gives a clean, oxide-free root with no post-weld treatment. Choose a plug to match the inside diameter of the pipe.

Pipe stands and alignment clamps keep the pipes in line during tack welding, which speeds up the job and improves fit-up.
