The EPR-X1 air supply unit has been replaced by version EPR-X1.1 New: - allows the use of an A1B1E1 / particle combination filter - gas filter that neutralises common gases that may be present during welding - when the gas filter is fitted to the unit, the system automatically locks all speed settings and allows only the lowest - the combined particle and gas filter extends the service life of the gas filter ESAB's EPR-X1.1 PAPR unit integrates seamlessly with all current ESAB products made for air-fed welding helmets and provides advanced protection against harmful welding fume particles. This PAPR is suitable for both occasional use and full-time industrial use. The EPR-X1's robust, compact housing and powerful blower deliver maximum service life and performance. Check battery status, fan settings and filter condition at a glance with the quick-reference status LEDs. The PAPR also alerts the user with audible and vibration alarms for low airflow (indicating that the filter needs replacing) and low battery charge. The EPR-X1 turbo unit is operated with easy-to-use buttons that let you select one of three airflow rates: 170, 190 and 220 l/min. The HEPA-grade, EN 12941 TH-3P certified two-stage filter and the spark arrestor are easily accessible through the removable front cover.
