Savage A50 Air LUX The SAVAGE A50 Air LUX welding helmet stands out thanks to carefully considered features and ESAB's proven design. The integrated vent is easy to adjust for better airflow through the front of the helmet. Reliable PAPR system performance is achieved with TH3-level protection from ESAB's EPR-X1.1 or EPR-X1 series. The integrated 50-lumen LED work light on the SAVAGE A50 Air LUX makes it easier to position parts and improves visibility in low light. The work light is easy to switch on with a handy button on the outside of the helmet, on the left-hand side next to ESAB's familiar grind mode button. A large auto-darkening filter with 1/1/1/1 optics to EN379 and ESAB's OpTCS™ True Color technology completes the top-class performance of the SAVAGE A50 Air LUX. This PAPR is suitable for both occasional use and full-time industrial use. The EPR-X1's robust, compact housing and powerful blower deliver maximum service life and performance. Check battery status, fan settings and filter condition at a glance with the quick-view status LEDs. The PAPR also alerts the user with audible and vibration alarms for low airflow (indicating that the filter needs replacing) and low battery. The EPR-X1 turbo unit is controlled with easy-to-use buttons that let you choose between three airflow rates: 170, 190 and 220 l/min. The HEPA-grade, EN12941 TH-3P certified two-stage filter and the spark arrestor are easy to reach through the removable front cover.
