Dual Color technology allows users to switch between two color modes when the filter is in its darkened state. Instead of being limited to a single filter color characteristic, the operator can select the tone that best suits their preferences and the nature of the task.

• Harmony Green – offers a greenish image tone, providing an alternative for users who prefer this type of arc and weld pool visibility.

SMART – intelligent darkening adapted to arc intensity

Technology that responds to changing welding conditions.
SMART mode automatically adjusts the filter shade level to changes in welding arc brightness. This eliminates the need for frequent manual adjustments, helping maintain a smooth workflow under varying process conditions.

Users can define the minimum shade level and adjust the filter's response to light intensity. The system automatically regulates the shade level from the selected minimum up to DIN 13, providing greater convenience and control during welding.

Panoramic visibility – more of your surroundings in view

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 features a large 107×75 mm viewing area and additional side windows that provide a wider view of the workstation. This design allows better observation of the surroundings, workpiece positioning and the area around the welder without constantly lifting the helmet.

High image quality is ensured by the 1/1/1/1 optical class filter, characterized by minimal distortion, reduced light scattering and uniform shading at different viewing angles.

The light shade of DIN 3 makes it easier to prepare the workstation, position the electrode and observe workpieces before welding begins.

MIX function – greater visual comfort during welding

Intense arc light and frequent shade changes can cause eye fatigue, particularly during spot welding and high-current welding. The MIX function has been developed to reduce discomfort associated with sudden filter brightening after welding.

Instead of immediately returning to the light state, the filter gradually brightens through intermediate shade levels. This allows the eyes to adapt more comfortably to changing light intensity and improves comfort during repeated welding cycles.

Advanced filter – fast response and precise parameter control

The Ultra 2300 auto-darkening welding filter uses 4 arc sensors and 2 auxiliary sensors to support precise detection of changes in light intensity. The switching time of 1/25 000 s enables rapid darkening when the welding arc is struck.
The filter offers two shade ranges, DIN 5–9 / 9–13, sensitivity adjustment and 11-level digital delay adjustment from 0,04–1,0 s. Users can choose from operating modes designed for different metalworking tasks:

• WELD – settings designed for arc welding,
• CUT – plasma cutting mode,
• GRIND – grinding mode with the filter locked in the light state of DIN 3,
• DARK – fixed-shade operation,
• SMART – intelligent shade adjustment according to arc intensity,
• MIX – gradual filter brightening after welding.

The filter provides continuous UV/IR protection up to DIN 16, regardless of the current shade level.

External GRIND button – quick operating mode changes

The helmet features an external button for switching to grinding mode, allowing the operator to quickly adjust filter operation without removing the helmet.
This practical feature is particularly useful when alternating between welding, grinding and material preparation. Operators can conveniently change modes without accessing the internal control panel, helping streamline successive stages of metalworking.

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 combines advanced filter functions with a design focused on user comfort. The multi-point adjustable headgear allows individual adjustment of head circumference, wearing height, distance between the filter and the face, and helmet angle. Its low weight, stable construction and replaceable front and rear sweatbands support comfort during everyday welding operations. The filter is powered by solar cells supported by a replaceable CR2450 battery, providing a practical solution for regular use.

SPARTUS Ultra 2300 is designed for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding, plasma cutting and grinding. With sensitivity that supports TIG AC/DC welding at currents as low as 2 A, the helmet is also suitable for precision welding at low welding currents.
